Xinyuan’s heavy duty range uses Q235 steel uprights with slotted keyhole or T-hole profiles and drop-in shelf panels, giving 500 kg (1,100 lb) load per shelf with no bolts and no tools. Uprights are roll formed in-house and powder coated, then shipped knocked down to keep container costs down.

Uprights are roll-formed from Q235 structural steel in our own plant and finished with electrostatic powder coating, cured for scratch and corrosion resistance. That is what keeps a 500 kg (1,100 lb) shelf rating meaningful after years of daily pallet handling, rather than only on the day the bay leaves the line. For damp rooms, cold stores or wash-down areas, galvanised uprights can be supplied instead of painted ones.
Every load figure we publish is a uniformly distributed load (UDL) per shelf level, measured with the bay level and properly anchored. If your pallets sit on a single point, or the frame will stand on an uneven floor, tell us before you order — the safe working load changes, and we would rather size the bay honestly than quote a figure you cannot use.
Packing and container loading
Units ship knocked down. Uprights, beams and shelf panels are bundled and flat-packed, so a 40 ft container carries far more bays than it would with assembled units — which is where most of the freight saving comes from. Before dispatch we photograph the loaded container and send the loading record, so what leaves our floor is what you can check against your own receiving documents.

Frequently asked questions
What does “500 kg per shelf” actually mean?
It is the uniformly distributed load one shelf level carries across its full width, with the bay level and properly anchored, and each level is rated independently — a 5-level bay does not become a 2,500 kg unit. If your goods sit on a single point, or the frame cannot be anchored, tell us before you order.
Which sizes and how many levels can I order?
Standard widths are 1,200 / 1,600 / 2,000 mm (47 / 63 / 79 in), shelf depth 600 mm (24 in), and heights 1,830 mm and 2,000 mm (72 / 79 in), with 3 to 5 levels. Non-standard widths, depths and heights are made to order — send us a drawing or the dimensions you need.
What is the minimum order quantity, and can I mix sizes?
1,000 sets per order for this range (one set = one complete bay), trial orders from 500 sets on request, and mixed sizes count towards the same total. That lets you test several configurations in one shipment instead of committing the whole order to a single size.
Can you match our colour?
Blue, orange, black and grey are held in stock. Any RAL colour is available on request, matched either to your own brand or to racking already standing in the building.
Can I get a sample before placing a full order?
Yes. Samples are supplied against a small deposit, and that deposit is refundable against your first production order.
What warranty do you offer?
Warranty runs from the bill of lading date and is tiered at 1, 2 or 3 years depending on the product line. It covers manufacturing defects only; overload, misuse, and damage caused by the site or floor are excluded.
Can I arrange a third-party inspection?
Yes, and we welcome it. Inspection can be arranged at the factory before dispatch or at the port; the inspection fee is payable by the buyer.
What do you send me before the goods ship?
We send the inspection record and container loading photos proactively. Mill certificates, dimensional reports, coating thickness readings and load test reports are available on request.
What happens if the goods arrive damaged?
Send us photos or the inspection report and you will have a written resolution proposal within 48 hours of us receiving them.
