Full Steel Shelving
All-steel shelving with no timber or particle board anywhere in the structure. Steel panels will not warp, swell or absorb oil, which makes this the right call for heavy parts, oily components, humid rooms and any site with fire-safety rules on combustible shelving.

All load ratings shown are per shelf level. Multiply by the number of shelves to get the total bay capacity. Bays are tested with uniformly distributed loads on flat, properly anchored shelves.

Built for oily, humid and fire-regulated sites
There is no timber and no particle board anywhere in this unit — the construction is steel throughout, with 0.6–1.0 mm perforated or solid panels. That matters in three situations: oily or wet parts that would soak into board, humid rooms where board swells and sags, and sites where fire rules restrict combustible shelving. Steel panels wipe clean, will not hold odour, and keep their capacity after years in a workshop. Divider kits, bins and label holders can be fitted to turn a shelf into organised picking storage.
Packing and container loading
Units ship knocked down. Uprights, beams and shelf panels are bundled and flat-packed, so a 40 ft container carries far more bays than it would with assembled units — which is where most of the freight saving comes from. Before dispatch we photograph the loaded container and send the loading record, so what leaves our floor is what you can check against your own receiving documents.
- Uprights, beams and panels bundled separately and labelled per bay
- Flat-packed to maximise container fill and cut freight cost per unit
- Container loading photos and inspection record sent before the ship sails
- Mixed sizes consolidated into one shipment against a combined MOQ
Frequently asked questions
What does 500–1,000 kg per shelf suit?
Heavy parts, tooling and dense components where board decks would fail. Capacity is quoted per shelf level as a uniformly distributed load, with the bay level and anchored, so a 4-level bay carries that figure on every level independently rather than as a combined total.
Are the shelf panels perforated or solid?
Both are available. Perforated panels suit oily or dusty parts where drainage and airflow help; solid panels suit small components that must not fall through. Panel thickness runs 0.6–1.0 mm in Q235 steel.
Does all-steel shelving meet fire-safety requirements?
It removes the combustible board deck from the structure, which is usually why buyers specify it. Requirements vary by site and by authority, so confirm the local standard — but the unit itself contains no timber or particle board.
What is the minimum order quantity, and can I mix sizes?
1,000 sets per order (one set = one complete bay), trial orders from 500 sets on request, and mixed sizes count towards the same total. That lets you test several configurations in one shipment instead of committing the whole order to a single size.
Can you match our colour?
Blue, orange, black and grey are held in stock. Any RAL colour is available on request, matched either to your own brand or to racking already standing in the building.
Can I get a sample before placing a full order?
Yes. Samples are supplied against a small deposit, and that deposit is refundable against your first production order.
What warranty do you offer?
Warranty runs from the bill of lading date and is tiered at 1, 2 or 3 years depending on the product line. It covers manufacturing defects only; overload, misuse, and damage caused by the site or floor are excluded.
Can I arrange a third-party inspection?
Yes, and we welcome it. Inspection can be arranged at the factory before dispatch or at the port; the inspection fee is payable by the buyer.
What do you send me before the goods ship?
We send the inspection record and container loading photos proactively. Mill certificates, dimensional reports, coating thickness readings and load test reports are available on request.
What happens if the goods arrive damaged?
Send us photos or the inspection report and you will have a written resolution proposal within 48 hours of us receiving them.
